Throughout the year there are different festivals: in January the Festa Major de Sant Vicenç, in May-June the Mostra Floral, as well as various habanera songs throughout the summer months.

How to get to Llançà

Llançà is a 25-minute drive from the French border on the N-260 and almost 2 hours from Barcelona.

Arrive in Llançà by private vehicle

Getting to the town of Llançà by private vehicle from France is relatively easy. If you follow the road that borders the Mediterranean coast it is 15 minutes from the border and if you arrive via Le Perthus, take the AP-7, it takes a total of 40 minutes.

From Barcelona the connection is also good: with the AP-7 motorway heading north and in Figueres take the detour to the N-260.

Go to Llançà by public transport

You can get to Llançà from Barcelona by bus, with the route that goes through Roses and Cadaqués. There is also a line from Figueres that reaches the village.

In addition, during the summer months there is a free bus to facilitate the connection between the beaches, the Maritime Port and the center of the municipality to visitors and residents.

If you want to travel by train, the R11 line goes from Barcelona to the north of Catalonia, passing through Llançà to Portbou.

Airports near Llançà

The two nearest airports are Girona-Costa Brava, 75 km away, Perpignan- Rivesaltes 80 km away and Barcelona-El Prat 175 km away. From Girona Airport you can reach by public transport via Girona or Figueres. In the case of Barcelona, ​​you can reach Portbou by train and then by bus.
